THE SA POLICHEM STORY
SA Polichem started its journey in 1999 by distributing chemical products. By 2002 it was manufacturing industrial, food & hospitality and household products.
Specialising with industrial, mining & engineering products, our bio-degradeable water based degreaser, Bio-D Extra caught the attention of many mines and soon became our flagship product. Our international footprint covers over 10 countries in Africa and South America which further substantiates why we deal with some of the most prestigious key customers and end users such as Harmony Gold mines, Anglo and Sasol mines, Shell distributors world wide, Komatsu and many more..
We extended our range further to include automotive and wash-bays by manufacturing antifreeze’s and coolants according to international OEM specifications, solvent degreasers, acid based degreasers, and eco-friendly hand cleaners.
We found there was a niche in the market and created the “All Care Hygiene System”. This system comprises of Food Grade Approved disinfectants, detergents, sanitisers, degreasers, colour-coded hygiene charts & brush-ware, specialised equipment, documentation, auditing & training, as well as bacterial swabs and testing.
As the system is run according to the HACCP legislation it has proven to be invaluable for our clients. All our Food Grade Approved products are tested and certified in Europe to the highest standards. We are an ISO9001:2015 registered firm.
